Notifications have STOPPED as of noon 11/10??

We have software for stock management that uses the Notifications API to get FixedPriceTransaction's and manage stocks for all of our sales on eBay. As of Noon today - more specifically 12:02PM, we received our last notification. Since then we have not received ANY notifications and have sold over 30 products! No settings were changed on our end at all, the notifications spontaneously stopped working, and have not been received directly, nor did the mailto: notifications reach our email. At the same time (noon today) I also noticed the automated responses for the eBay website use a different template/graphics. I am assuming the upgrade of the eBay website somehow broke the API. I tried to call help but the only option they give me is to pay $75 an hour for support... I would REALLY appreciate it if anyone could look in to this themselves (a quick minute in the API demo project and SetNotificationPreferences) and report the bug for me, as I am not able to without spending money?? This is horrible support, eBay breaks something that has been working flawlessly for over 6 months, and now we are supposed to pay for their error, and no way to even report the bug????

Can you please provide your developer account username so that I can file a ticket on your behalf ? You wouldn't have to pay anything.

We would need more information to investigate the issue before reporting the bug, so ticket would be the best channel for that. Just FYI, I would need the following information in the ticket so please make sure this is handy, and you can immediately update the information in the ticket. Note : Please do not share the details in the forum publicly. 1. GetNotiificationPreference request and response (with token). 2. ApplicationId which is subscribed to receive the notifications. 3. Sample order-id, or ItemId-TransactionId pair for which notification did NOT get triggered.

Hi again. Thank you so much for your response. Developer account is "zamozuan". For some more information, we had SetNotificationPreferences as "mailto:" to send an email to a special receiver account on FixedPriceTransactions (as all of our listings are Buy It Now). For approximately 6 months this setup has worked perfectly. All of a sudden yesterday afternoon it stopped completely. There are also other accounts that use the same software, and the notification stopped for them as well. I will work on sending you the other information requested. Thanks again for your response.

Hi I have created a ticket on your behalf : 141111-000014 You can login to your developer account, and go to My Account, and then under Support section, you can go to 'My Tickets' to view or update the ticket. You can also reply via email that is associated with your developer account, however, please keep in mind that if you attach any file, you will have to do so from the account only. Attachment via email does NOT work. Hope that helps ! I will look forward for your response. Thanks

Sorry, it's a bit hard for me to understand the ids in this format. If you intended to share the ItemID and TransactionID, please do put a hyphen in between eg : ItemID-TransactionID. If you pasted only TransactionIDs, that won't help. I'd need both ItemID and TransactionID (ItemID is a must). Thanks

Hmm, this was formatted much better before I hit the submit button. Lets try again... "Internal error to the application", so I am guessing maybe related.

@zamo-zuan We are having almost the same issue. We are still getting EndOfAuction notifications but only when there is no item sold. We are not receiving FixedPriceTransaction notification either. Basically whenever an actual sale occurs we do not get a notification. The last notification we received as at 2:18:33 pm yesterday.

@vijayta.developersupport... my company has experienced similar issues these last few days. We get the AskSellerQuestion notifications and EndOfAuction notifications as long as the item did not sell. I do have some other info, in my iis logs I can see where the notifications were attempted but IIS returned an error 500 which leads me to believe that somehow the xml data being sent is not well formed or the request is otherwise bad. My developer account name is videv. Exact same problem here: EndOfAuction notifications arrive only for unsold items, none for auctions that sell. Not getting FixedPriceTransaction notifications either. Support ticket $ubmitted but hope this informs others and helps expedite a fix. Dev account username: yaxydev Where can we see the TransactionID on the eBay website for items not yet paid for?
