Ebay store information

Hi, I'm new to the Ebay API and I'm researching the possibillities of it. I wonder how much data you can get on a particular store/seller without the need for that particular seller to approve of it (e.g can I get feedback ratio without authorization?). Is there a list of available open data points for a particular seller (anonymous data is ok)?

Generally speaking, the kinds of public data points you can retrieve from the eBay API about a specific seller without their token (their approval) is the same info you can glean from the eBay website itself. There may be a minor exception here or there, but the API doesn't really let you in on more data than is already available. There are a few different API calls you may want to use to retrieve seller/store info. I'm not terribly familiar with them, as I'm usually after item info, but check out [GetUserProfile][1] in the Shopping API and the GetSeller_____ calls in the [Trading API][2]. Also, search calls like [findItemsAdvanced][3] in the Finding API can be set to retrieve some tidbits about the seller in the response.
