How looks order id?

I develop software that communicates with ebay through REST ebay API. I use `GetOrders` to get orders. The order that i receive have following `OrdrId` format 000000000000-00000000000 or 000000000 but my partners confidently assert, that `OrderId` must be in format 0000. According to the documentation orderId must be 000000000000[-00000000000] http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/XML/docs/Reference/ebay/GetOrders.html#Request.OrderIDArray.OrderID. The one thing that i think may be, is that my partners use SellingManager `SaleRecordID`. What of the order id is correct? What are the approaches to get `OrderId` in format 0000 ? Thanks.

The documentation you found is correct. For single line item orders you will see 000000000000-00000000000. For multi line item orders you will see 000000000. If your partner is referring to "OrderID" as 0000, I would agree he is probably referring to the selling manager sales record ID.
