How to identify Multiple line item orders after being paid/cancelled?

I have integrated trading api and using getorders api, I am facing the issue that everytime I am getting new OrderID for same order. Like if user placed the order and does not pay, So I get the order with status Active and id like "ABC" and after 10 minutes user cancel the order and Now I get it with different orderID like "XYZ" So i facing the issue that I am unable to find it in my database as it was saved with order_id "ABC". Its causing issue in daily operations.
