EPS uploaded images are not displaying in sandbox...

I've been working on some Ebay API code for the past couple of months and I've just come back to it only to find that images are not displaying on the sandbox. This code was working I'm using the .Net API and code: sReturnName = apiUploadPics.UpLoadPictureFile(PhotoDisplayCodeType.SuperSize, drImage!prodimg_FileName) The request is executing without any problems and a URL is returned: But the image URL does not display the image, just "Image not available". I can't post the returned XML in this form, but it looks fine. Need more information.

Which API (or sdk) are you using?

Are the images stored locally on disk or in "the cloud"?

Mind pasting your source code that you are using to upload pictures with? Also what are the file sizes and dimensions of the pictures?

Using the ebay .Net SDK. I have pasted the code in but the forum is not displaying my text! Dim apiUploadPics As eBayPictureService = New eBayPictureService(m_apiContext) sReturnName = apiUploadPics.UpLoadPictureFile(PhotoDisplayCodeType.SuperSize, CStr(drImage!prodimg_FileName) The method executes correctly, the url is returned, but the image does not display. I can't add the returned link into this post as all of the text disappears, as it appears to have done on my original post!

Also, images are between 500 and 1200 pixels in width.

hmm if it's returning the URIs then it's not the code... what file names are you passing in? maybe it doesn't like some special chars in there? Have you tried uploading just 1 image? The response text "PictureHeight" and PictureWidth" sizes have a wide variance.

Yea I've had all sorts of trouble with sandbox and these forums too :/

Honestly sometimes I do my "testing" on production

Also just to dot the i's and cross the T's make sure your pictures meet the following requirements.

http://pages.ebay.com/sellerinformation/news/springupdate2013/picturerequirements.html Another test you can try as a control try uploading 1 of those images to a production listing (if possible) see if that works just to eliminate the sandbox "poopoo"ness scenario... ideally using the exact same code you are using now except pointing to production picture upload service

I'm baffled by all this, I've tried using UpLoadSiteHostedPicture method, which again appears to work correctly and returns a URL, only for the image not to be displayed. Is no-one else having this problem?

@rose1955metal As I recall the Sandbox just started working again after a few days. It really is a very flaky platform, I've had a number of "coding problems" that failed on the sandbox for a few days, but worked on live! It's a real pain when you've got coding deadlines to meet.
