Where to store short-lived client token?

Hello,

Im using the browse API to GET products and product details from Ebay using aspect filters from a specific category. I was wondering where I should store the access token as I know it’s valid for 2 hours and requesting a new one on each request is inefficient.

Im using VueJS, Firebase/Firestore and cloud functions. I assume that I store the access token in my database with an end timestamp.

When somebody searches for a product, it will search for the access token and if it’s expired, get a new one?

OR do I automatically request and store a new token every couple of hours automatically?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated
