Ebay auto-replacing our images via API upload with other brands images

We've recently run into an issue where eBay are using a different branded image as the main image instead of our own branded one which is sent via API.

Our main images consist of a white background, just the product in focus, 1,600 by 1,600 pixels in dimensions, with our own branding as has been the way for many years now, has anyone else ran into this issue with regards to selling compatible products on eBay of late? I'm at a loss as to where to even start debugging this, aside from having sent a message to eBay for assistance.

There ya go, we use the same images in our description that we upload, our item has it's own GS1 barcode also for reference.

Somewhat relievingly this turned out to be a staffing issue on our side and NOT an eBay issue, thank goodness!
