What is the payload header new structure including Item Specifics?

Hello

My team and I are implementing dynamic loading for Item specifics on our site, we only had Brand and MPN before but we are not sure on how the request body should look like once we send it back to eBay for listing.

We got the item specifics to load and save to and from our Db but when it comes to sending the information of the listing to ebay that's where we are confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as developer support said, item specifics are NOT part of any header, they are part of the request body - as documentation clearly shows

Hi @elinktest31,

You need to pass the Item specifics as the part on request body when executing the API call. Please execute the getItemAspectsForCategory call taxonomy API for the categoryID to get the latest VariationSpecifics/Aspects of that category.

Ref: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/commerce/taxonomy/resources/category_tree/methods/getItemAspectsForCategory
