Retract Best Offer via API

Hi all,

I'm reproducing the case when a Buyer places a BestOffer but then decides to retract/cancel/undo it.

On production, Buyer can do it with UI but currently, sandbox UI does not allow it. That's why I'd like to use API.

So, how a buyer can retract their own Offer?

Thanks!

Hi @yuar-5745,

You can use GetBestOffers call of Trading API to get the details of Best Offers for items and you can use RespondToBestOffer call to accept or decline a buyer's Best Offer on an item, or make a counter offer to the buyer's Best Offer. Please go through the link given below to know more about these calls.

Thanks for the reply!

I do use GetBestOffers (with ItemId, to get ALL offers), and RespondToBestOffer requests.
But if I counter, the status will be "countered", if I decide - "declined".
I need the status of the offer to be Retracted, but I can't perform retraction with RespondToBestOffer.

So, that is my question, can I retract an Offer?
