Hi @xinzh_2198,

The Inventory API is ONLY compatible with the Inventory API. Meaning if an item was listed using any of the tools available via the UI on eBay.com or was listed using the Trading API, they will not surface using the Inventory API.

You cannot use Trading API to revise the listing which is created by the Inventory API.

But the API I use is the Trading API . The API is https://api.ebay.com/ws/api.dll .

Editing the item with the Trading API will report an error now. Which API should I use?

You guys have had years to deal with this. Why not provide a translation layer that is transparent to the developer regardless of which API they are using so calls to one become calls to the other. This is especially problematic because sellers will subscribe to random applications that will convert all of their listings into Inventory listings without notifying them breaking every single legacy application they have ever subscribed to. And there is no way to convert them back.
