GetOrderID() returning two different Order Numbers

Since April, when retrieving the Order Id through getOrdersId() it is returning two different Order IDs for an Order. We use the Order ID to insert the Order if it does not exist, if it does exist we update it. However since we are now receiving two different IDs it is creating duplicate orders for the same order. Is there a reason why there are two different Ids now?

The first Order Id has the format below, we would insert this order since it does not exist:

384018452065-1209634108025

Then, a couple of minutes later we receive a different Order Id for the same order above:

17-07115-90062

Both belong to the same order when searching in eBay but only the second one is displayed.

This does not happen for every order either.

Hi @luxury.garage.sale ,

  1. The first orderId is the combination of the Item Id and Transaction Id.
  2. The second orderId is the extendedOrderID.

Both the orderId can get the same result.

Hi @sagar_developersupport I see that it can get the same result, however, using getOrderID() it returns either or and that does not make sense since it will then create duplicate information in our system. How can we only get the extendedOrderID to prevent duplicates from being created?
