Notifications stopped working - 500 Error

In the last few weeks my notifications have more or less completely stopped, as far as I can remember I didn't change anything. I checked GetNotificationPreferences and the information there seems correct. Then trying GetNotificationsUsage with an item id I can see errors in there as follows:

Retries: 3
DeliveryStatus: Undeliverable
ErrorMessage: DELIVERY_HTTP_SEND_FAILURE:[Notification HttpEventSender: URL https://etc.etc/myscript.php: HTTP Client returned '500' (HTTP status: 500, 'Internal Server Error')]

Is that something going wrong on my server or is that a problem at ebay's end? - The URL for the php is correct and when I access it directly in a browser it returns status 200.

Thanks for any help!

Just bumping this to see if anyone has any idea about this as the problem is persisting. What I realized actually is that the 'FeedbackReceived' events seem to be sent reliably but specifically 'BidReceived' events are only occasionally sent.

Each time when I check what's happened using GetNotificationsUsage I see the same 500 error as above, ie like DELIVERY_HTTP_SEND_FAILURE:[Notification HttpEventSender: URL https://etc.etc/myscript.php: HTTP Client returned '500' (HTTP status: 500, 'Internal Server Error')]

Incidentally sometimes when calling GetNotificationsUsage I get an error "504 gateway timeout /
upstream request timeout". Just generally using ebay.co.uk there have been a lot of server errors lately and sometimes ebay's own bid notification emails aren't arriving, could this all be related?
