If a seller doesn't receive the customer's email address, how can they send the customer a prepaid return shipping label? This is now a problem for many ebay sellers. Please advise and also share any guides for a workaround if you have them. Many thanks.
I too had spotted this change. I'm still in the development process, and having a contactable email address is a key requirement of our use case. The "intermediated" email address is still contactable. In my test yesterday (and I had to purchase a bag of balloons to prove it) - I was able to send an email to the provided email address - and it did eventually appear in destination inbox. It did take 15 minutes however. I'm not sure if this is a normal wait period, it does seem a little excessive. It would be useful to understand what this delay is.
Instead of relying on the email address for communication, we're also going to make use of the telephone number which (at time of writing) is not obfuscated.
I think my VAT invoices (pdf attachments) are being stripped from my emails sent to these addresses.
