Sold Listings API Calls

Hi everyone, I'm new to eBays API. I was wondering what method is recommended to perform an API call in order to retrieve all public Sold Listings? Of course, using keyword and category filters would be great. What is the best method to achieve this and what API endpoint should be used when doing a GET request? Thanks!,Hi everyone, I was wondering which API call should be used to pull any/all public sold listings? Thanks

Marketplace Insights API is the official way to get this data. You certainly won't be able to get ALL of eBay's sold items data, but you can get small chunks as needed. Marketplace Insights requires approval ahead of time, and there's a paper trail to follow. An old API call from the Finding API called findCompletedItems also works. It's limited to 5K calls per day, but it's available to anyone with an approved eBay Dev account. You can experiment with either call in the API Explorer within your eBay Dev account. And yes, both calls allow for keyword or category filtering.

Hi @helios825, You can use findCompletedItems call of finding API by using keyword and categoryID. For sold listing you can use item filter (itemFilter.name = SoldItemsOnly, itemFilter.value = true) For more details please refer below doc: https://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/finding/CallRef/findCompletedItems.html#Samples Regards, eBay Developers Program

Thanks a lot for the responses. I'm already in eBays Partner Network. I attempted to do a sample call with the Marketplace Insights API but I'm getting an error: GET: Marketplace Insights API https://api.ebay.com/buy/marketplace_insights/v1_beta/item_sales/search?q=iphone&category_ids=9355&limit=3 "errorId": 1100, "domain": "ACCESS", "category": "REQUEST", "message": "Access denied", "longMessage": "Insufficient permissions to fulfill the request." My token and API auth seems fine, as I can do regular queries with: https://api.ebay.com/buy/browse/v1/item_summary/search? Are there additional steps required to get access to Marketplace Insights API?
