Ebay Best Offer no longer returns price

It looks like the api has updated so that the best offer accepted prices are only revealed to people who are associated with the offer (seller, buyer, or person who made the offer). https://developer.ebay.com/devzone/xml/docs/reference/ebay/GetBestOffers.html > The amount of the Best Offer or counter offer. For this field to be returned, the user must have a relationship to the Best Offer, either as the seller, buyer, or potential buyer who has made the Best Offer or counter offer. However, there are websites out there that can still reveal the best offer price. https://www.flippertools.com/tools/ebayOfferHistory/ebay-best-offer-actual-price.htm?itemId=333550738147 Can anyone elaborate on how these websites are able to do this?

I would speculate that sites like those might be scraping the eBay ended-item page to retrieve the actual sold price. Last I checked (a couple months ago), the price is buried in the source code on certain pages.
