Internal application error with error ID 1 Finding Items By Keyword

When I query the finding service as follows it produces an internal error with error ID of 1. http://svcs.ebay.com/services/search/FindingService/v1?SERVICE-VERSION=1.12.0&SECURITY-APPNAME=…&RESPONSE-DATA-FORMAT=JSON&OPERATION-NAME=findItemsByKeywords&REST-PAYLOAD&GLOBAL-ID=EBAY-US&keywords=Milwaukee+%28249422%2C2494-22%2C045242237203%29+-%28for%2C2715%2C0030%2C20%2C045242342037%29&itemFilter%280%29.name=Condition&itemFilter%280%29.value=1000&paginationInput.entriesPerPage=50&outputSelector%280%29=SellerInfo&outputSelector%281%29=StoreInfo&outputSelector%282%29=AspectHistogram&outputSelector%283%29=CategoryHistogram Reformatted for readability: { SERVICE-VERSION: 1.12.0, SECURITY-APPNAME: …, RESPONSE-DATA-FORMAT: JSON, OPERATION-NAME: findItemsByKeywords, REST-PAYLOAD: , GLOBAL-ID: EBAY-US, keywords: Milwaukee (249422,2494-22,045242237203) -(for,2715,0030,20,045242342037), itemFilter(0)_name: Condition, itemFilter(0)_value: 1000, paginationInput_entriesPerPage: 50, outputSelector(0): SellerInfo, outputSelector(1): StoreInfo, outputSelector(2): AspectHistogram, outputSelector(3): CategoryHistogram } Response: { ack: Failure, errorMessage: { error: { errorId: 1, domain: Marketplace, severity: Error, category: System, message: Internal application error., subdomain: Search } }, version: 1.13.0, timestamp: 2019-12-20T16:45:20.971Z, categoryHistogramContainer: { … } } It's happening for some other, similar queries too but not all. Any ideas? EDIT: I've also tried stripping away all the filter parameters except "keywords", changing the format to "XML", reducing the keyword string down to only the brand name and one SKU. Nothing helps. It always fails. Yet other SKUs work.

You have a double encoded amp; in the appID. Maybe that's a side effect of posting. rawurlencode (php) any spaces in the keywords instead of urlencode. i.e. your request works, after decoding all the encoded stuff you posted and changing the "+" to "%2B"
