Trying to get a feed file using curl

I'm having an issue where it seems whenever I try to get a feed file using curl the data is unreadable. The curl command I am running is: curl -v -H 'Accept:application/json' -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -H 'X-EBAY-C-MARKETPLACE-ID: EBAY_US' -H 'Range: bytes=0-10485760' -H 'Authorization:Bearer TOKEN' ' https://api.sandbox.ebay.com/buy/feed/v1_beta/item_group?feed_scope=ALL_ACTIVE&category_id=625' >> output1.gz with TOKEN being my actual working token. Also is .gz the right file format to be returning this to? I am also getting a status 200 response with this.
curlfeed
