List of available payment options

Hi eBay team, We're working on a feature that utilizes the "guestCheckout" API's and was wondering the limitations of the payment methods. We see in the updateGuestPaymentInfo resource ( https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/order/resources/guest_checkout_session/methods/updateGuestPaymentInfo) that it supports CCN's but when looking at the initiateGuestPayment ( https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/order/resources/guest_checkout_session/methods/initiateGuestPayment) resource it explicitly says: - The enumeration value that specifies the payment method company. Note: The only value supported for the initiateGuestPayment method is PAYPAL_CHECKOUT. - The enumeration value that specifies the payment method type. Note: The only value supported for the initiateGuestPayment method is WALLET. Even though enumerations are documented to support other payment providers. Can I get some clarification on what payment instruments are supported, if they need to be provided through some sort of payment gateway, and if so what payment gateways are supported?.

Hi @arpa-3382, You need to first go through the different integration models for Guest checkout. Please take a look at the "Payment flows overview" section on this page: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/static/api-order.html You will see that for most cases, the partners will use a Paypal account to complete checkout. For Guest checkout partners who don't want to use PayPal and want to use credit cards, they will use the Paypal Smart Button flow For Guest checkout partners that are not PCI compliant to handle any payments at their end will use Vault service. Some of the API Calls like: initiateGuestPayment are only applicable for Smart Button FLow: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/static/api-order.html#psb-checkout Best Regards eBay Developer Support

Hi @arpa-3382, The use of eBay’s Order API (Buy APIs) in production is intended for eBay partners only. Users must [apply for production access][1] through the eBay Partner Network. Acceptance of applications is based on the proposed business model, as well as a formal agreement to abide by the policies and requirements stipulated by eBay and PayPal. BTW we are checking "List Of Available Payment Options" with the concerned team and we will get back to you.
