Unable to add RUName or generate Application oAuth tokens

Hi there, When clicking on the links to add a **Redirect URL**, I am shown the following message: > Use a secure HTTP endpoint > (https://domain/path) for the URL to > your privacy policy (you cannot use > eBay’s policy) I'm not able to find anywhere within the page/my account where it asks for a Privacy Policy URL, only the oAuth branding About URL, which is populated as required. When clicking on the **Get OAuth Application Token**, it spins for about a minute and then returns to the page with no errors. Looking at the request tab, I can see it is 504 timing out. Am I missing something here? Thanks

POST https://developer.ebay.com/create_ru?app_key=xxx&env=production&auth_entry_type=APPLICATION&privacy_url=https://www.your-url.de/ That request is returing a json like {"ruName":"xxx","oauthEnabled":false} And when you reload the site, the full form should show up and you can modify the other options like declined url and accepted url...

I had a glimpse of hope, when a colleague told me they had an already established developer account setup etc, so I logged in as them and was presented with a modal asking to confirm my details only to be shown the same "Use a secure HTTP endpoint..." message. I'm guessing eBay assume people will pay $75 an hour to report a bug with their system?

Look for the failed request and add the parameter privacy_url with an valid https address. I guess the form is broken.

Thanks wunderkopf, The form isn't even showing for me. It's just firing off a request to the following as soon as you click the "You have no Redirect URLs. Click here to add one." or "Add eBay Redirect URL" links. https://developer.ebay.com/create_ru?app_key=xxx&env=production&auth_entry_type=APPLICATION Looking at the code, it's not even passing any post data variables to the form, so assuming it's meant to create the ruName first and then you update it with the privacy url etc.

@poundmonkey - unfortunately it's a little fiddly and it may take you some playing with but the following is based on you using Chrome. 1. Go to https://developer.ebay.com/my/auth/ and select either Sandbox or Production. 2. Open up the developer tools window (F12, or CMD + Option + I) 3. Click on Sources 4. In the source panel on the left, find https://ir.ebaystatic.com/rs/c/auth-d925d9.js and click on it. 5. Click on the {} pretty print button on the bottom of the page. 6. Search for "`/create_ru?app_key=`" and set a breakpoint on line 12042 (`c.emit(E, t);`) 7. Click on the Add eBay Redirect URL link which should trigger the breakpoint. 8. On the right hand side, in the Scope section, under Local you should see `a: "/create_ru?app...` 9. Double click on the `"/create_ru?app...` and append to the end `&privacy_url= https://link-to-your-privacy-url.com/` 10. Press F8. Assuming all went right, you should now have a newly created RuName which needs you to populate the privacy url and if required accept/reject urls.

Done the Process but still getting the same error... Use a secure HTTP endpoint (https://domain/path) for the URL to your privacy policy (you cannot use eBay’s policy)
