get fee % of category

for seller with an ebay store, ebay charge a selling fee based on the category the item is listed. I found information about the fee in % on https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4364 Of course it depends on marketplace you sell. How can I get the the fee in % for each category via an API call? Unfortunately I did not find a hint in Trading API, Sell API, ... Hope that someone can help me.

Hi @gamersfirstchoice,

You can use the getTransactions call of Finances API to get the fee related information for an order for different feeType like FINAL_VALUE_FEE, AD_FEE, BELOW_STANDARD_FEE and many other feeTypes.

Ref: https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/sell/finances/resources/transaction/methods/getTransactions#response.transactions.feeType

Thank you for the response but this is not the solution we are looking for.

We need a way to estimate our costs before selling an item, You provided a way to get final value fee after transaction.

There is a table that has the % of fee's based on the category.

We need this updated table in API There is a basic table here https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822

Store table here

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-fees/store-fees?id=4809

This would allow us to accurately estimate the fees when listings items

Thank you
