I’m writing code to use the EBay API to add Vehicle Compatibility to our existing listings on Ebay (UK website). Please can you advise how to do this. I assume that I use the ReviseItem API similar to: ABC...123 en_US High 639 110043262494 NameValue Year 2006 Make Hummer Model H2 Fits for all trims and engines. Year 2007 Make Hummer Model H2 Fits for all trims and engines. So you the compatibility information you can revise on a listing is: Year | Make | Model | Trim | Engine But, how does this tie in to what appears on Ebay (UK) for vehicle compatibility? On the UK site compatibility shows as: Make | Model | Year | Variant | Bodystyle | Type | Engine Example…. Ford | Transit | 2006 | -- [2006-2016] Box | Box | 2.4 TDCi 4x4 | 2402ccm 140HP 103KW (Diesel) Can I just send this as: Make Ford Model Transit Year 2006 Variant -- [2006-2016] Box Bodystyle Box Type 2.4 TDCi 4x4 Engine 2402ccm 140HP 103KW (Diesel) ??? The above format mirrors the data found in the MVL from Ebay for the UK. So I would expect the fields that ebay would accept through the API for Compatibility would match the fields found in the MVL. In the past we would upload a spreadsheet containing the K-Types to FileExchange. I can map the K-Types to the MVL to get the Make, Model etc info to send to the API. Is this the best way to add Vehicle Compatibility data to existing listings via the API? Also… the MVL Year column generally contains multiple years, so would I have to do one line per year duplicating the rest of the data?? Eg. from MVL Make | Model | Year | Variant | Bodystyle | Type | Engine | K-Type BMW | 3 Series | E46 [1998-2007] Hatchback | Hatchback | 316 TI | 2002|2003|2004|2005 | 1596ccm 115HP 85KW (Petrol) | 30911 So when I send this via API, would it become… Make BMW Model 3 Series Year **2002** Variant E46 [1998-2007] Hatchback Bodystyle Hatchback Type 316 TI Engine 1596ccm 115HP 85KW (Petrol) Make BMW Model 3 Series Year **2003** Variant E46 [1998-2007] Hatchback Bodystyle Hatchback Type 316 TI Engine 1596ccm 115HP 85KW (Petrol) Etc. So send up four lots of compatibility data for this one K-Type? Advice on how to achieve this would be much appreciated.
