Getting `an internal error occured` when using GetMultipleItems with IncludeSelector

A call to the following URL is failing: ` http://open.api.ebay.com/shopping?callname=GetMultipleItems&responseencoding=JSON≈pid={appid}&version=1045&siteid=0&IncludeSelector=Description%2CDetails%2CItemSpecifics&ItemID=132599488268%2C132599488270%2C142772995593%2C142772995608%2C142772995609%2C142772995619%2C142772995620%2C142772995630%2C142772995635%2C132599488272%2C132599488274%2C132599488278%2C142772995636%2C142772995637%2C142772995641%2C142772995644%2C142772995651%2C183197789888%2C173290099392%2C282941332686` If I remove the IncludeSelector query string argument then the call succeeds, so it's something to do with that.

It's probably exceeding their buffers. There's a XML Word Document embedded in each of those listing descriptions. So each item is returning 500KB or so. The Description field is subject to all sort of wild behavior. Use TextDescription if you can.

I guess that would explain it then. Sad that eBay's APIs aren't up to the job. As you say, the description fields are full of all sorts of junk. That's why we had to switch to using the full description rather than the TextDescription field. eBay's internal algorithm doesn't seem to do a great of job of rendering the crazy HTML to plain text, so we have to load the full HTML and try to do better ourselves.
