Updating shipping information in eBay India

Hi, I'm trying to add tracking information in eBay India using the CompleteSale call.

The call only updates the eBay shipping status to 'shipped' without adding tracking information, despite me sending the courier name and tracking number. The API result is the following: "message":"Shipment tracking number addition is not allowed for this type of transaction.  ","code":"2191114","success":false.

Googling the error message brings up very few hits, so I feel this is not a common problem. Is there any limitation on updating tracking information in eBay.in when PaisaPay was used for the transation?

Thanks, Ian.

I will need more information to help with tihs issue.  You may want to open a support ticket to get better one on one support, http://developer.ebay.com/support/developersupport/.

If you don't want to open a support ticket, I will need the full XML request and response that is failing.  Along with your SellerID, ItemID, and whether this is happening in sandbox or production.

Hi Josh,

I'll post any answer I get back to the forum in case other people get the same issue. This is in relation to the question I posted here. I'm developing the system and using a colleague's eBay account for testing on the live server.

I've removed the eBayAuthToken and the ApplicationId and replaced them with placeholders. My developer ID is 86faac17-7ae6-4985-b15f-137874feb2ce and the seller's eBay account ID is spurlinestore_goa. Please let me know if you need any further credentials.

Thanks, Ian.

Sorry this is taking so long.  I don't have an answer off the top of my head, and we don't support PaisaPay in sandbox.  So I am having to reach out to the shipping team for answers.  I am still waiting for an answer and hopefully will get something back for you soon.
