FYI: Price manipulation in sold item pricing

2 listed, 1 sold at $99.29 http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBidsLogin&item=162547465278&rt=nc The seller changed the price before cancelling the listing. The sold price now appear to be the final price in the listing page and the completed search results and API results: $653.65 https://www.ebay.com/itm/162547465278 The seller's other items show similar activity. This undermines the reliability of results from findCompletedItems.

Thanks for sharing. Hmmm, I wonder how widespread this is, and what exactly is their master plan. Maybe in certain small niches, they're attempting to alter buyer mindset based on people learning prices from completed-items searches.
