Insufficient permissions to access the data feed.

I've been trying to obtain feeds through the [item feed endpoint][1], but keep getting an "Access denied": "Insufficient permissions to fulfill the request" error. The documentation states that the scope needed is: > https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope That's the scope I use in generating the tokens, and my tokens are working for other call types. It also states that you have to be an ePN member, and I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated. [1]: http://developer.ebay.com/devzone/rest/api-ref/browse/item_feed__get.html

The scope required to access Item Feed API is ' https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope/buy.item.feed' You can find the details here : https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/buy/feed/resources/item_summary/methods/getItemFeed If your application has this scope please use it to access the API. Otherwise please file a support ticket to get the corresponding scope.

Yes, I was able to generate a token in the sandbox with that scope, but not for production. Is there any way to get it turned on for my production app without using premium support? Thanks.

interpreting results I tried: - especially not configure EPN account - setting scope to get a access token: ` https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope/buy.item.feed` - URI (sandbox): `GET https://api.sandbox.ebay.com/buy/feed/v1_beta/item_summary` - URI (production): `GET https://api.ebay.com/buy/feed/v1_beta/item_summary` - Header: - X-EBAY-C-MARKETPLACE-ID: `EBAY-US` - Authorization: `Bearer <(Application or User) access_token>` - try in Sandbox: - Application access token: `Feed file not found` error, same as: https://forums.developer.ebay.com/questions/22676/feed-api-feed-file-not-found-1.html - User access token: when get authorization code, `invalid scope` - try in Production: - Application access token: unknown(not try) - User access token: unknown(not try) Is also Others' work circumstance same as this?

I found that Feed API in sandbox doesn't work. https://forums.developer.ebay.com/questions/22676/feed-api-feed-file-not-found-1.html I don't know whether it work in production or not.

@present_jp @maria_publicapi @shulmani_developer.support They keep telling me to activate and use premium support to create a ticket. eBay's reps say there won't be a charge for completing the ticket, but one must prepay to even use the support...

I want to use Feed API. I have similar trouble. This scope " https://api.ebay.com/oauth/api_scope/buy.item.feed' is invalid when get authorization code for User Access Token in my sandbox environment. I got a EPN account. But I don't know how to set to connect EPN account with Developer account will use Feed API. Are there such information in documentation? How can I valid this scope? Feed API is fundamentally paid API, not fee API if need support tickets? Please tell me.

I appreciate the response @maria_publicapi. Yes, I am already set up with and using EPN. I just don't quite understand why I need to pay for a support ticket to have that scope added when it should have already been available.

Hello morleyt, you need to set up an account with the eBay Partner Network. Once your account is created you can contact developer support using https://developer.ebay.com/my/support/tickets to obtain the right scope. Thank you!

I'm no expert on the new APIs (yet), but I think you still need special permission/approval to use the Feeds. Not sure if you get that from ePN or eBay Dev. It must be in the docs.
