We are transitioning to the new REST Inventory APIs primarily for the higher call limits. We have built our application and are listing successfully, however when doing bulk listings, we have gotten the error > *25002: A user error has occurred. Your application has exceeded usage limit on this call, please make call to GetAPIAccessRules to check your call usage.* We are listing fewer than 10,000 items with this tool, and it’s running on a single thread, so there’s no way we would have exceeded the [2 Million Calls available](
https://go.developer.ebay.com/api-call-limits) to us. It is not clear why we received this error What’s also surprising is that these calls appear to have “used up” our calls from the Trading API. Some parts of our integration still function on these tools and they received Usage Limit Errors after this bulk upload using the REST Inventory API. Is there some trick to how the metering works? It is not clear from the documentation.
firstname.lastname@example.org When is the limit likely to be bumped up. Ive hit the limit again after <5000 calls, and im unable to remove skus which are out of stock as a result. Kind Regards
