On 9/15, eBay Will Add TLS1.2 Support To Our Production API Endpoints

eBay will add TLS1.2 support to our Production API endpoints on 9/15 https://api.ebay.com https://svcs.ebay.com eBay will also continue to support TLS 1.0 and 1.1 until at least June 2017. However, if your application is on an older stack, it might not be compatible with the order of the certificates. Starting on Thursday, August 25, these Sandbox API endpoints already support TLS 1.2: https://api.sandbox.ebay.com https://svcs.sandbox.ebay.com We strongly recommend that you use the Sandbox endpoints to test your application’s compatibility and verify that your system supports TLS 1.2 and SHA2 cert before 9/15 Please note that this change is part of an industry-wide initiative to improve security standards across the Web. See this [KB article][1] for details. [1]: https://ebaydts.com/eBayKBDetails?KBid=5073

Zhuowei, Is eBay making any accommodations for people using Windows 2003 servers at this point?

My server is hosted by Heroku , I'm building the XML requests on my own and send them using Ruby native HTTP mechanisms , as in Net::HTTP class.

Check your server for TLS 1.2 compatibility. Are you using cURL? Are you using an SDK? What platform are you using to make your API calls to eBay?

Hi Zhuowei, I'm using:
http://developer.ebay.com/devzone/xml/docs/reference/ebay/getorders.html
What is supposed to change? I'm sending an XML request and get one back. As per your suggestion , I should try to use my current setup on the Sandbox and see everything stays the same? Thanks.
