Clarification of Rate Limits for Large Merchant Services

We wanted some clarification on the [limits]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/large-merchant-services/Concepts/LMS_APIGuide.html#rate) for the Large Merchant Services API. The documentation says: > You will start with a default request limit of 5,000 calls per day Does each API call within a data file count against our limit? For example, would uploading a file with 1,000 [Revise Inventory Status calls]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/XML/docs/Reference/eBay/ReviseInventoryStatus.html) be counted as one call or 1,001 (one for the upload file call plus one for every call in the file we are uploading)? We have seen errors responses like ``` Your application has exceeded usage limit on this call, please make call to GetAPIAccessRules to check your call usage ``` and ``` It looks like you've listed as much as you can for this month. Request to list more: https://scgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?UpgradeLimits&appId=0&refId=19 ``` and wanted to clarify whether they are referencing the seller's monthly listing limits, limits on the number of API calls, or something else.
