https://open.api.ebay.com/ ???? Is there a secure endpoint?

I am building a website, and I have some data I would like to fetch on the fly from the item. Now, I am accessing an endpoind: http://open.api.ebay.com/shopping But it's in http protocol, and I would like it to be in https, but it looks like there is none. Any advice?

One option is to use the Trading API call that might be the equivalent of the call in the Shopping API you are using, if there is one available. Trading API uses https. If you are using GetSingleItem from Shopping, try using [GetItem][1] from Trading. [1]: http://developer.ebay.com/devzone/xml/docs/reference/ebay/GetItem.html
