Some images are not generated for eBay item overview page

0 down vote favorite We manage our eBay items using the API, explicitly with this SDK: https://github.com/davidtsadler/ebay-sdk-php All images are available on our web server and conform to the guidelines: http://developer.ebay.com/devzone/guides/ebayfeatures/Development/Pictures-Intro.html Of course all images are generated with the same settings. Accordingly, we use to add or changes of articles the AddItem call and put there the PictureUrl: http://developer.ebay.com/devzone/xml/docs/reference/ebay/additem.html#Request.Item.PictureDetails.PictureURL Correct overview images are generated by eBay for about 90% -95% of our images. For the rest of the article, this unfortunately is not working. In this case, eBay displays within the view of an article an indication that something has gone wrong. After several clicks, you can initiate the process again and the overview image will be generated successfully. - Any idea what could be the problem?

Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 512.0 KiB each and 1.0 MiB total.

Hi, Can you please give us an example Item where the images are not processed properly? This would help us investigate the issue. I can tell you sometimes, when eBay is trying to access the images on your server, The server might be too slow or unavailable. Usually revising the images should help. Cheers!!!

indeed as shrut_h commented, a weak hosting was responsible for the problems. See also the stackover-flow thread here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/34994967/some-gallery-images-are-not-generated-by-ebay
