finding real item price for best offers

I am using findCompletedItems with the aspectFilter values for SoldItems, to get only items actuallyl sold. For every item, I get its details with a call to GetItem. In the response, I check for the presence of BestOfferDetails. For instance: 3 true false In this case, I call the method GetBestOffers for the item, and find an offer with status Accepted. So far so good. However, sometimes, the item has a BestOfferDetails, and after calling GetBestOffers, none of the offers has the Accepted status. In this case, how can I find the actual sale price? An example of this could be item id 281875408077 A call to GetBestOffers for it returns this: 2015-12-21T13:30:25.287Z Success 949 E949_CORE_API_17775483_R1 57770283 2015-12-07T16:28:56.000Z 570 2014-05-25T10:49:34.000Z g***j Countered 1 BuyerBestOffer 57788715 2015-12-08T01:40:39.000Z 570 2014-05-25T10:49:34.000Z g***j Countered 1 SellerCounterOffer 57788824 2015-12-08T01:44:58.000Z 570 2014-05-25T10:49:34.000Z g***j Expired 1 BuyerCounterOffer 57887418 2015-12-10T07:33:46.000Z 570 2014-05-25T10:49:34.000Z g***j Countered 1 BuyerBestOffer 57887510 2015-12-10T07:39:07.000Z 570 2014-05-25T10:49:34.000Z g***j Declined 1 SellerCounterOffer 9999999.0 2015-12-10T10:38:17.000Z Collingwood, Victoria 1000 Brand new When inspecting the item on ebay, it also reports the item was sold, crosses-out the price and informs of an accepted offer. How can I find the actual accepted offer amount?

When you say "aspectFilter values for SoldItems", don't you mean **itemFilter**=SoldItemsOnly? As for the meat of your question... Items like the one you mentioned are a little baffling to me. I've seen them before -- it's unclear how the item actually sold and for how much. My best guess is that it was listed with Best Offer Enabled, and perhaps received offers that were all declined/expired, but then the item perhaps ultimately sold for the asking BIN price. Also, I see that item was listed on eBay AU, so maybe check if all your calls (findCompletedItems, GetItem, GetBestOffers) are set for that locale. That item was said to be relisted (perhaps a similar item though), so I wonder if the QuantitySold=1 is really a bug? Just a guess. And I'm wondering: why do you bother calling GetItem to retrieve the container -- doesn't GetBestOffers normally have all that info anyway?
