Is anyone else having an issue where no gallery image is showing in search results/shop

Hi, All new listings created this week via the API for our main account are not showing a gallery image. (These are self hosted images) Have spoken to ebay customer support several times this week to be told there is a known error and they are working on it. We wondered if a recent change to hosting the images on a HTTPS server may be an issue but we are guessing and thinking that HTTPS should not effect it, but saying that, testing on turbo lister the gallery image would not accept a HTTPS path. We have got 150 listings that look like this! ![alt text][1] Any one got the same issue ? Any update from ebay tech support would be appreciated as we are not able to get any information beyond it is a known issue. It is also a very frustrating issue! [1]: /storage/temp/721-screenshot.jpg

We have had at least 5 calls and 3 chats to ebay UK customers services trying to get some help. The last couple of agents have been very helpful and have said they will escalate the issue to ebay tech, but 10 days on it still remains unsolved. If there is someone from ebay tech reading the forum we would really appreciate your help is resolving this issue. If you see this link and scroll down http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Brampton-Framing/_i.html?_sop=10&rt=nc there are over 100 listings where the gallery image will not load. @shrut_h any help would be appreciated.

Hi sirhatt, We figured out what the issue is. All the image URL's that you have in the request get redirected to https address. For eg: http://www.bramptonframing.com/images/picture-frame-chevrons/151000137/800/1.jpg gets redirected to : https://www.bramptonframing.com/images/picture-frame-chevrons/151000137/800/1.jpg We do not allow redirects and we do not allow https:// format URL's for pictures Please use the correct URL's and revise the item with the correct URL's and thsi should fix the issue Cheers!!!

Hi, and thanks for your helpful reply. We have recently bought an SSL certificate and moved our server to HTTPS so we were suspicious that it might be causing the issue. We have tried providing both http:// and https:// links but neither produced any results. I have to say it is quite disappointing that the eBay Picture Services don't support fetching from HTTPS as the API itself forces us to communicate via SSL! We will have to re-enable plain HTTP on our web server just for eBay images and see how well that works.
