LMS GetJobStatus stuck on "Created"

I'm new to LMS however I can't see from the documentation why a job would be stuck on the Created stage for several hours without moving to Complete or Failed....? Array ( [error] => [response] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [ack] => Success [version] => 1.5.0 [timestamp] => 2015-02-17T16:25:01.344Z [jobProfile] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [jobId] => 5442018178 [jobType] => ReviseInventoryStatus [jobStatus] => Created [creationTime] => 2015-02-17T12:41:20.000Z [inputFileReferenceId] => 5444392038 ) ) ) Any help gratefully received. Thanks, Alex

Do you call [startUploadJob]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/startUploadJob.html) after uploading the file? It's hard to tell from the information you have provided so apologies if you do. The process that I use with LMS is: 1. Call [createUploadJob]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/createUploadJob.html) and store both the [jobId]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/createUploadJob.html#Response.jobId) and [fileReferenceId]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/createUploadJob.html#Response.fileReferenceId) that is returned in the response. 2. Send the file to eBay file with [uploadFile]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/file-transfer/CallRef/uploadFile.html). Pass into the request both the jobId and fileReferenceId from the previous step. 3. If the upload is successful tell eBay to begin processing the file with [startUploadJob]( http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/startUploadJob.html) . The jobId is all that you need to pass.

Hi, I suggest that you try starting the job again : http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/startUploadJob.html. If its still not successful, please abort the job : http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/bulk-data-exchange/CallRef/abortJob.html#abortJob and submit a new job. If the issue still exists, please let us know and provide the jobID. Cheers!!!

Hi @shrut_h I have started a new job as that one was clearly stuck. So I call CreateUploadJob: '; XML ReviseFixedPriceItem fb6b6c44-db62-4fda-adf3-685710ff70e6 and receive: Array ( [error] => [response] => SimpleXMLElement Object ( [ack] => Success [version] => 1.5.0 [timestamp] => 2015-02-26T10:00:19.697Z [jobId] => 5448432588 [fileReferenceId] => 5451287688 [maxFileSize] => 31457280 ) ) I then call UploadFile with contents gzipped and base64 encoded, get a success response, then it stays stuck in the Created state. Thanks, Alex
